- How often is your system in use? The number of people in your home can affect how often your septic tank will need pumped. More water waste (Dishes, Laundry, Cleaning, etc.) will affect your system. The more strain your system goes through, the more likely it will need to be pumped sooner!
- Why is pumping important? Pumping your septic tank keeps your septic system healthy. Without pumping your tank, you risk the sludge and scum building up to the point that it affects the overall functionality of your tank. This can lead to your septic system failing.
- Have you added bacteria and enzymes to your tank? Without bacteria, your septic tank would likely clog quickly.
